Devised to illustrate the power and relevance of creativity in business success, the Circus Festival of Commercial Creativity is a yearly three day event for communications professionals.
‘Circus’ is set for March 27-29 and brings together some of the most influential leaders in the world of commercial creativity. Coming from international markets such as the US, UK and Asia, these speakers bring a global perspective to commercial success.
Brands and sustainability, technological game changers, user centred innovation and global retail trends will be just some of the topics covered in the three day event.
“Circus is an opportunity to glean insights on how creativity transforms businesses and contributes to top line growth. Circus will help you stay on top of emerging marketing trends and technologies and shifts in consumer behaviour,” says Margaret Zabel, CEO of The Communications Council, the organiser of the event."
The Festival runs over three days. Day one is an international keynote speaker day. Day two sees the running of the Battle of Big Thinking, a TED style event, where speakers share an idea that will shift a paradigm in the topic areas of Advertising/Marketing/Media, Business, Government, Storytelling and Social/community.
Day three includes a Master Class segment, which will provide attendees the opportunity to get to the heart of the most innovative thinking in creative communications in a way that is relevant to their day to day work. The workshops will be hands-on sessions hosted by experts such as BBH Planning Directors Kevin Brown and Nick Kendall, David Plante, retail expert and Senior Marketing Manager for Target US and Wieden and Kennedy, the agency behind the famous Chrysler Superbowl ads.
The event concludes with the prestigious AWARD awards, the annual Australasian creative awards celebration.
