Creative Innovation Site Terms and Conditions of Use
The Creative innovation site (www.creativeinnovation.net.au) (the “Site”) is an initiative of the Creative Industries Innovation Centre, which is supported by the Australian Government's Enterprise Connect program and managed by the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). For the purposes of these terms and conditions, the website owner is UTS.
The Terms and Conditions of Use, together with the Privacy Policy, Publishing on the UTSWeb Policy and any other conditions, disclaimers or notices provided on the Site, govern your use of the Site.
We may from time to time review and amend these Terms and Conditions of Use. Your continued use of the Site following any change will constitute your acceptance of any updated Terms and Conditions of Use.
Membership
To access and use some parts of the Site, you must register as a Member. You are responsible for the security and protection of your membership details, including your username and password. You are responsible for any activity used under your membership.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend or cancel your membership at any time.
In general you must not:
• Breach any applicable laws or regulations; or
• Use the Site to harm, abuse, harass or threaten others or use the Site for any unlawful purpose
As a member, you are bound by the Creativeinnovation.net.au House Rules, when using the Comments feature on all sections of the Site:
About your Comments:
• Must be civil and tasteful.
• No disruptive, offensive or abusive behaviour: contributions must be constructive and polite, not mean-spirited or contributed with the intention of causing trouble.
• No unlawful or objectionable content: unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive or otherwise objectionable material is not acceptable.
• No spamming or off-topic material: we don't allow the submission of the same or very similar contributions many times. Please don't re-submit your contribution to more than one discussion, or contribute off-topic material.
• No advertising or promoting.
• Those containing languages other than English may be removed.
• No impersonation.
• No inappropriate (e.g. vulgar, offensive etc) user names.
• URLs (web site addresses) are not to be posted unless they are relevant to the content and discussion and non-commercial in nature.
Disclaimer
UTS regulates publishing on the Site through its Publishing on the UTSWeb Policy. The conditions that must be observed, relating to currency and accuracy of information and relevant legal requirements, are defined by this Policy.
Subject to compliance with the Publishing on the UTSWeb Policy, UTS also permits users and organisations to publish information on the Site. This service is only provided as a support to the UTS Community and as such, UTS is not responsible for the views or the accuracy of the information expressed on these sites.
Although UTS may from time to time monitor, amend or remove information published on the Site, UTS does not accept any responsibility to monitor, amend or remove information nor is UTS responsible for any information published on the Site.
